VerifyMade for Shopify

Keep the approved proof, production file and packed order tied together.

Your app workspace

Sign in through Shopify. No separate account.

If VerifyMade is installed, sign in to Shopify Admin, select your store, then choose Apps → VerifyMade. Your dashboard, proof uploads, approvals, production release and dossier tools all live there.

New installations will open when Shopify approves the listing. There is no external VerifyMade registration or password.

First order? Start with its tag.

  1. Open a recent order with at least one item in Shopify.
  2. Add proof-required in the order's Tags section and save.
  3. Open VerifyMade and choose Sync recent orders.
  4. Choose View order trail or Add proof on that order.

The sync checks the latest 50 orders. Proofs must pass security checking before an approval link becomes available.

The $49 manual Starter Kit and $199 written Workflow Review are separate, optional services. Neither is required to use the $9/month Shopify app.

The evidence chain

Move the order forward without guessing which file was final.

Each step records the operational fact the next person needs.

01

Import the order

Bring proof-required Shopify orders into a focused queue without copying customer identity or customisation values.

02

Version the proof

Upload PDF, PNG or JPEG proofs. Files stay private until an open-source malware scan returns a clean result.

03

Record the decision

Give the customer a private link that records approve or request changes against one fixed version.

04

Release the right file

Bind the approved version to the DST, EMB or EXP production file using a local SHA-256 fingerprint; the machine file never leaves the device.

05

Capture what was made

Attach clean finished-item and open-parcel photos to the same production release.

06

Export the trail

Generate a private evidence dossier and verify whether the underlying order record has changed since an earlier export.

Built for the production hand-off

Useful when several people touch one custom order.

  • Sales or customer service receives the specification
  • A designer prepares and revises the proof
  • A production coordinator releases the approved version
  • An operator makes the item
  • Packing records the finished order before dispatch

Clear boundary

Evidence control, not production control.

VerifyMade organises the proof, approval, release and post-production record. It does not control an embroidery machine, inspect physical quality, provide legal advice or guarantee a chargeback outcome.

Your team remains responsible for customer communication, production decisions and removing personal information from uploaded files.

Questions

Before you install.

Which Shopify data does VerifyMade use?

Shop and order identifiers, order number and timestamps, item title, variant, SKU, quantity, the names of customisation fields, fulfilment and tracking references, and VerifyMade's own evidence-status records. It does not ingest customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, payment details, message contents or customisation values.

What files can I upload?

Proofs can be PDF, PNG or JPEG up to 10 MB. Finished-item and packed-parcel evidence can be PNG or JPEG up to 10 MB. Production DST, EMB and EXP files are fingerprinted in the browser and are never uploaded.

Does the customer need a Shopify account?

No. The customer receives a private link for one proof version and can approve it or request changes without creating an account.

Can a failed scan expose a file?

No. Uploads remain in private quarantine unless the format checks and malware scan complete successfully. Blocked or expired files never receive an approval link.

How does billing work?

Shopify manages the 14-day free trial and the $9 monthly subscription. You can review or cancel the subscription from Shopify Admin.
